2020/4/8 Nanjiang Electric (Zhejiang) Co. Ltd.2165

On March 27, the Global Energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization held its fourth anniversary webinar and press conference. The conference site "cloud release" cooperation organization and global energy Internet development in the past four years. Lin Hongyu, Director of the Cooperation Bureau of the Cooperation Organization, said at the seminar that in the past four years, the cooperation organization has vigorously promoted China's initiative to the world, carried out extensive dissemination of ideas, international cooperation and other work, promoted China's initiative to become a global action, and actively built an international cooperation platform for jointly promoting clean development and power and energy interconnection.
"The global energy Internet is a modern energy system dominated by clean energy, centered on electricity, interconnected, co-construction and sharing, and its essence is' smart grid + UHV grid + clean energy ', providing a system solution for promoting human sustainable development and opening up a new road for sustainable development of mankind." Cooperation organization development Bureau deputy director Zhang Yibin said.
On March 29, 2016, the Global Energy Internet Development Cooperation Organization was established in Beijing. Over the past four years, the SCO has adhered to the development purpose of "promoting the construction of a global energy Internet to meet the global electricity demand in a clean and green way", and has carried out work in the areas of concept dissemination, planning and research, international cooperation and project promotion, and has become an influential international organization in the field of global energy and electricity.
At present, the global energy supply is developing in the direction of clean, energy consumption is advancing in the direction of electricity, and energy allocation is changing in the direction of interconnection. Remarkable progress has been made in the development of the global energy Internet, which has been incorporated into the framework of implementing the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, promoting the implementation of the Paris Agreement, promoting global environmental governance, addressing poverty and health issues without electricity, and the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. It has been included in the outcome documents of the 9th Clean Energy Ministerial Conference, the 54th Economic Community of West African States Summit and the 8th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, providing realistic and feasible solutions for promoting world energy transformation and sustainable development of mankind.
Among them, the cooperation organization vigorously promotes the construction of the African Energy Internet, and jointly proposes the establishment of the African Energy Internet Sustainable Development Alliance with the Guinean government to jointly promote the clean, industrialized, electrification and integrated development of Africa. State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, Huaneng Group, State Power Investment, Three Gorges Group, Power China and other enterprises believe that this is a "multi-win plan", which is conducive to giving full play to China's comprehensive advantages in technology, capital, operation, etc., to jointly explore the African market and improve the quality of international development.
On this basis, the cooperation organizations will give full play to their professional advantages and the role of platforms to propose and promote a number of "Belt and Road" power interconnection demonstration projects. At present, the feasibility study of the China-South Korea interconnection project has been launched, a joint intergovernmental working group has been established for the China-Myanmar-Bangladesh Interconnection project, and the cooperation organization has signed a tripartite cooperation agreement on the interconnection project between Ethiopia and the Gulf States with the Ethiopian Ministry of Energy and the Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Power Grid Authority.
Thomas Carberger, chairman of the executive Board of the Japan Renewable Energy Association, said at the meeting that the global energy Internet "China Initiative" is feasible, and the concept of "two alternatives" proposed by the cooperation organization is very forward-looking, new energy power generation competitiveness is constantly increasing, electricity prices are constantly declining, and in the consumption side such as transportation. It is also possible to use electricity to replace fossil fuels. At a time when the global economy is slowing down due to the impact of COVID-19 and entering a "post-pandemic era", governments around the world are looking to invest in projects that can stimulate economic growth. The Global Energy Internet Initiative is an attractive prospect for many countries.
In addition, Thomas Carberger predicts that concepts such as the global Energy Internet will face challenges, but the bigger opportunity will be. In the future, there will be a lot of investment in power generation, infrastructure and energy-related technologies, which will be a favorable way for countries around the world to boost their economies.
Statistics show that up to now, the total number of SCO members has reached 860, covering 115 countries, involving energy, electricity, information, finance, consulting, science and technology, environmental protection and other fields.
